ANDREW KIMBRELL

Andrew Kimbrell, Executive Director of the Center for Food Safety, talks about cloning our meat.

Andrew Kimbrell is Executive Director of the Washington D.C. based Center for Food Safety, along with its parent organization, the International Center for Technology Assessment. He is also a founding partner in the public interest law firm Kimbrell & Mendelson. For more than twenty years he has been at the forefront of legal and grassroots efforts to protect the environment and promote sustainable agricultural production methods. He is the editor of Fatal Harvest: The Tragedy of Industrial Agriculture and The Green Lifestyle Handbook, and the author of The Human Body Shop: The Engineering and Marketing of Life and The Masculine Mystique: Men and Technology. He has been featured on radio and television programs across the country, including the Today Show, the CBS Morning Show, Crossfire, and Good Morning America. His written work has appeared in numerous newspapers and magazines including the New York Times, the Washington Post, and Harper’s. He has lectured at dozens of universities throughout the country and has testified at numerous congressional and regulatory hearings. In 1994, the Utne Reader named Kimbrell as one of the world's leading 100 visionaries.
