CHRISTOPHER MCDOUGALL

Author Christopher McDougall talks about the health and nutrition secrets of Mexico's legendary Tarahumara runners.

Christopher McDougall first traveled to Mexico's Copper Canyons in search of the legendary Tarahumara runners five years ago, and he's been studying their amazing exercise and nutrition secrets ever since. As a writer for Men's Health and, previously, Esquire and the New York Times Magazine, he's a three time National Magazine Award finalist. He's also the author of "Girl Trouble," an adaptation of his New York Times Magazine article about a pop princess' clandestine brainwashing cult. McDougall is currently at work on a book about a race between the Tarahumara and a rag-tag band of American ultrarunners, which is due for release in April.
