Session Host: James Oseland is the editor-in-chief of Saveur magazine and a noted authority on the food of Southeast AsiaJames Oseland has been the editor-in-chief of Saveur, an award-winning magazine dedicated to global cuisine, since 2006. Prior to that he was the executive editor of the magazine. He has also worked as an editor at Vogue, Organic Style, and American Theatre. He is the author of "Cradle of Flavor: Home Cooking from the Spice Islands of Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore," a book which won awards from the James Beard Foundation and the International Association of Culinary Professionals and was named one of the ten best books of 2006 by Time Asia. He lives in New York City and travels to Asia every chance he gets.
